Please think about the children
Mrs. TEACHER,
Good afternoon. I wanted to write to you to find out where STUDENT can park her car. Since STUDENT has been late due to my fault, having to get my two year old and her both up and dressed and out the door on time, I haven’t been doing this very well. I have decided that it would be much easier if STUDENT drove herself.
She does well on getting herself up on her own in the morning and getting ready, the real missing link is me and my ability to get out the door on time; so I figured the best solution would be to have her drive herself. I prefer she park the car in the front as it will be make it easier for her to drive since traffic moves at a crawl in the front of the school, I usually find myself in the line to turn in for about ten to fifteen minutes on some mornings, with traffic never reaching over about 2mph – this will make it really easy for her. If she can’t park in the front – is the back available?
Also I know most kids put a key around their neck for getting into the house and things like that but our car has a remote unlock and lock and it might be a little heavy for a necklace, do you have a peg she can hang the keys on when she gets to class?
What I want to avoid is her being punished again for my inabilities. I am really glad that other city employees don’t follow your logic in punishing my kid for my actions. I once received a speeding ticket, it’s a good thing I didn’t have to send Hayley to work to pay for a ticket that was my fault. I really haven’t heard of a teacher punishing a student for their parent’s actions since I studied history in undergrad, or heard rumors of the good ole’ boy network in which teachers tend to punish students when they don’t like their parents.
If my memory serves me correctly I think I appear in court if my kid is late too many times or absent, that is usually how they punish parents, is it not sufficient anymore? Please let me know what you would like me to do, I think I will skip the cookies after dinner tonight to punish myself for her being late today. I just ask next time you tell my child to sit out from snack, as it’s a privilege you call and let me know too, I’ll stop what I’m doing and join in with her.
Also, spare me the laundry list of why getting to school every day and being on time is important, I’m having to count up the money she made in a fundraiser so I won’t have a lot of time to read it, no doubt I’m sure she was told about it somewhere in the seven hours she was in school, subverting important things like math and reading, but I’ll make sure she’s there on time tomorrow.
Thanks,
Parent

superficial - i read it for the articles
Proof:
Jenna Jameson is definitely doing her best Angelina Jolie impersonation, according to sources for Perez Hilton:
"They're having twins," a friend of the superstar tells us. "Jenna and Tito just found out. They are beyond thrilled!"
This, of course, answers "Nope" to the age old question: Can Jenna Jameson do anything without getting double teamed?
